We often ask God to reveal the entire journey before we are willing to take the first step. We want certainty about the destination, the timing, and every difficulty along the way.
But Scripture describes God’s Word as a lamp, not a floodlight. A lamp makes the next faithful step visible. It invites trust.
The grace of enough light
God may not explain everything He is doing, but He will give enough truth for obedience. The question is not always, “Can I see the whole road?” It is often, “Will I walk in the light I have already received?”
The next step may be a conversation, an apology, a decision to wait, a new discipline, or the courage to begin.

Prayer
Father, free me from the demand to understand everything before I obey. Help me trust Your character, receive the light of Your Word, and take the next faithful step. Amen.
