Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:6–10
In today’s passage, Apostle Paul directs our attention to the wisdom God has prepared for His people. The Corinthians admired intellect, eloquence, and philosophical depth, but Paul reminds them that God’s wisdom is of a different kind; it’s eternal, hidden, and revealed only by the Spirit. What God has prepared for His children is far greater than anything the world could imagine or achieve.
Here are three truths from today’s passage:

God’s wisdom is reserved for the mature. True maturity is not measured by intellectual achievement but by spiritual openness. Those who are growing in Christ learn to value what God values and to see beyond the surface of things. God’s wisdom becomes clear as our hearts are shaped by Him.

God’s wisdom is eternal and hidden from the world. Human rulers and systems cannot grasp the wisdom of God. His purposes often run counter to human expectations. His wisdom is not discovered through analysis but revealed through grace. What He has prepared for His people is beyond human imagination.

The Spirit reveals what God has prepared for us. The Spirit searches the deep things of God and makes them known to us. Without Him, we remain blind to God’s purposes. With Him, we begin to see the beauty, depth, and richness of what God has planned. The Spirit opens our eyes to the wisdom of Christ.
Today’s passage invites us to be open and receive the wisdom God offers. We do not grasp it by striving; we receive it by the Spirit. God has prepared more for us than we can imagine, and He delights to reveal it to those who seek Him with humble hearts.
Pray with me: Dear Lord, please open my heart to Your wisdom. Teach me to value what You value and to see beyond what the world celebrates.
