Scripture Reading: Hebrews 13:15–25

The book of Hebrew closes by showing what a life shaped by God’s grace looks like. Because Jesus is our steady and unchanging center, we are urged to respond with worship, generosity, , and humility. At the heart of it all is the understanding that God’s grace is the steady gift that enables everything we offer back to Him.

Here are three truths from today’s passage:

  1. Our worship is expressed through continual praise. Praise must become a steady posture of the heart. It should rise from moments of joy as well as seasons of difficulty. Through Jesus, our praise becomes pleasing to God. It is an offering that reflects trust, gratitude, and surrender.

  2. Our obedience is expressed through doing good. Worship is not only vertical but also horizontal. Kindness, generosity, and compassion are offerings God delights in. These simple acts reflect a heart shaped by Christ.

  3. Our strength comes from the God who equips us. The closing blessing is a reminder that we do not live the Christian life by our own strength. The God who raised Jesus from the dead is the One who works in us what pleases Him. Our obedience is empowered by God’s grace.

Today’s passage invites us to live a life marked by praise, generosity and humility. We offer God our worship and our obedience, knowing fully well that He is the One who strengthens, equips and sustains us.

Pray with me: Dear Lord, please teach me to live a life of continual praise. Equip me with everything I need to do Your will and let Your grace strengthen me each day.
