Scripture Reading: Hebrews 13:1–6
Today’s passage brings our attention to the simple, human ways that our faith should be lived out. These verses remind us that devotion to God is not only expressed in worship or doctrine but also in how we treat people, how we honor relationships, and where we place our confidence.
Here are three truths from today’s passage:

Love must shape our relationships. Christian love is not meant to fade with time or pressure. It must be steady, intentional, and sincere. This love extends beyond familiar faces. We are urged to show hospitality to strangers. We are also called to remember those who suffer, identifying with them as though we were in their place.

Honor and purity matter to God. God cares deeply about the integrity of our relationships. Marriage is sacred, and purity reflects reverence for God’s design. God calls us to live with honesty, faithfulness, and respect, resisting anything that distorts or diminishes what God has made holy.

Our confidence rests in God’s presence. We are called to be content with God brings our way. Our contentment is rooted in the understanding that God is for us, and He is always with us. Because He is with us, we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” His presence becomes our security, our peace, and our courage.
Today’s passage invites us to live out our faith through love, purity, compassion, and trust. These simple acts reflect the character of the God who walks with us and strengthens us each day.
Pray with me: Dear Lord, please help me live out my faith with sincerity. Teach me to trust Your presence more than anything this world can offer.
